I will be speaking about Drupal accessibility at Drupal and Design in Toronto, on March 6, 2010, at 2:00pm.

Topics to be covered:

• What is web accessibility?
• Who benefits from accessible web-sites?
• What standards guide accessible web design?
• How does Drupal 6 stack up for out-of-the-box accessibility?

Time will also be provided to answer participant questions

Overview

An overview of the accessibility features and limitations of Drupal 6, with examples of improved accessibility from Drupal 7.

I will be presenting on Drupal accessibility at the Drupal in Government Showcase hosted at The Code Factory, in Ottawa, August 19, 2009 at 4:30pm.

The Drupal in Government Showcase will feature several presenters from the region who will speak and answer questions about different aspects of the Drupal content management system.

I will be attending the first day of the Fluid Engage all-hands meeting at the University of Toronto, on June 22, 2009.

I am a former employee of the Adaptive Technology Resource Centre at the University of Toronto. While working with the ATRC I contributed my accessibility knowledge to several projects under CulturAll 2.0.
